NGO Summit 2018
This summit is a gathering of NGOs, NPOs, CSO, CBO, FBOs, INGO, Aid NGOs, Founders, Professionals, Organised private sector stakeholders and Government agencies who share a common interest in deepening the strategy for NGOs development in Nigeria.
The conference will address the following: NGOs Networking, Negotiation and Engagement, Project Implementation strategies for NGOs, Management Accounting for NGOs, Project Management Skills for NGOs, Proposal Writing: Concept Note, Effective Fund Raising and Grant Making, Building the Governance Framework, Attain Consultative Status with United Nation, Starting and Understanding NGOs Administration, Communication and Media Relations for NGOs, How to win Campaigns and Advocacy for NGOs, Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Documentation and Report writing, NGOs Need assessment, Legal-regulation and Fiscal Compliances, Using ICT in Taking NGO to the Next Level in the new face of Nigeria.
The first two days of the event will feature extensive capacity building for selected and invited NGOs, NPOs, FBOs, CBOs and mentorship programmes, to be followed with a one-day summit, Award presentation and Panel Discussions. There will be an exhibition for the three days.
Objectives of the NGOs Efficiency Summit
As Nigeria Mark 58 years of independence, our primary objective is to provide a robust stakeholders summit that will reposition NGOs in Nigeria for efficiency and effectiveness in their various areas of advocacy. The summit intends to provide comprehensive capacity development and advisory support to NGOs on how to achieve sustainable development goals and how to access and utilise available government support services. Other objectives of the summit include:
- To promote networking, partnership and better engagement among NGOs
- To equip CBOs, FBOs, CSOs aspiring NGOs with the skills to positioning for better operation.
- To equip the participants with the latest development, policies of the various Government agency to aid their effectiveness.
- To design and build a corporate governance and framework/platform that would enhance the capacity of NGOs in Nigeria.
- Expose the NGOs and other stakeholders to funding opportunities locally and internationally.

We intend to use the summit to bring together stakeholders and policy-makers from the public and private sectors, as well as experts and practitioners from both local and international establishments, to resolve the lingering challenges and poor service delivery by both NGOs and government agencies.
