He attained his first degree at the University of Abuja and obtained B.sc (Hons) in Economics, he proceeded to University of Maiduguri where he obtained P.G.D in Education and furthered his academic career to Nasarawa State University where he obtained M.sc in Economics. He also obtained an Executive Master in Customer Relationship from the Customer Service Training Institute, U.S.A. Currently undergoing his MBA with ABU Zaria.
He worked as an Insurer for over Nine years in various capacities and in two reputable organizations; Union Bank of Nigeria Plc at Union Assurance department and Asset and Resources Management (ARM) Life Assurance department in Abuja Nigeria. He resigned to establish his consulting firm, Formazione Consults where he operated as a key facilitator before establishing Formazione Business School with offices situated in fifteen states in Nigeria.
He has passion for the development of Leadership, Management and entrepreneurial skills for Micro, Small and Medium scale enterprises (MSMEs) and is a promoter of youth empowerment programmes in Nigeria. He is currently in partnership with NYSC under the SAED scheme (Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development) where he has trained over five thousand corps members and counting across fifteen states in Nigeria in Entrepreneurship skills. He mentors over seven thousand five hundred youths on his social media platforms and has authored a book titled Think Big Start Small 200 hundred Business Ideas that has sold over three thousand copies in Nigeria.
He is a radio host program on Kiss FM 99.9, Crowder Love FM 104.5 Abuja on A moment with Segun where he talk on enterprise development, leadership and youth development.
Segun has train and facilitated various management and leadership program locally and international. He has developed and train over 200 workplace skills program in various workshops and seminar and conferences across different sectors.
Segun is experienced in Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Business Development, Startup Business (MSMEs) and Management Consultant, Project Management, and a multi-disciplinary trainer who possess a strong analytical problem-solving skill. He is a top notch multi-disciplinary professional who has gained mentorship from The London Business School.
